Congratulations to Simon Arnold, who has completed the “Race to the Stones” Ultramarathon, raising nearly £1700 for ADHD Oxfordshire in the process.

“Race to the Stones” is a 100k race along the Ridgeway in one day (that’s 62 miles in old money – or almost 2 and a half Marathons) and Simon completed it on a very hot day.

Simon says: “Firstly, thank you so much to everyone who followed my progress, or donated, or cheered me on, or commented on the updates (or all of the above). We managed to raise an amazing amount of money for ADHD Oxfordshire, around £1700 including Gift Aid.

“I started in Watlington (Oxfordshire) at 7:30, and arrived in Avebury (Wiltshire) 100 kilometres and 15 hours and 23 minutes later. A 32 degree sunny day made for a massively tough day and at the halfway point I was considering giving up, but I didn’t want to let everyone down who was supporting me or who’d donated. So I pulled myself together and got it done, undoubtedly the toughest thing I have ever done.”

We would like to say

THANK YOU!!!

to Simon for his amazing effort, and for choosing us as his charity to support!
